Penggunaan beta-adrenergic reseptor menyekat agen (aka beta-blocker) disarankan pada pasien dengan sinus bradyarrhythmia atau tengah blok yang lebih besar daripada tahap pertama (kecuali berfungsi perentak jantung hadir). Kerana mereka negatif inotropic dan chronotropic kesan pada jantung, menggunakan beta-blocker mungkin memburukkan lagi keadaan ini.
