Beta-adrenergic reseptor menyekat agen (aka beta-blocker) secara umum tidak boleh digunakan dalam pasien dengan terang-terangan kegagalan jantung (USD). Bersimpati rangsangan mungkin penting dalam mengekalkan hemodinamik fungsi di pesakit ini, itu beta-blokade boleh memburukkan lagi kegagalan jantung.
