Propranolol terutamanya kekal oleh hati. Pasien dengan penyakit hati mungkin berada pada risiko yang lebih besar untuk kesan buruk dari propranolol kerana menurun dadah pelepasan. Terapi dengan propranolol perlu diberikan berhati-hati pada pasien dengan penyakit hati. Dos pelarasan yang mungkin perlu.
